Summer VBS Is Alive!

The second week of our Summer VBS has come to an end, and we have three more exciting weeks to go!

We are deeply grateful to Grace River Church for their prayers, faithful service, and loving partnership. Every day, the children arrived with bright smiles and eager hearts, excited to learn God's Word and spend time with caring brothers and sisters in Christ.

Although this program was designed for children, countless volunteers and adults have also been richly blessed. Together we have witnessed the joy that comes from loving and serving God.

Please remember that this blessing is available not only during the summer but every day of the year.

"In all things I have shown you that by working hard in this way we must help the weak and remember the words of the Lord Jesus, how he himself said, 'It is more blessed to give than to receive.'"— Acts 20:35

The Lord has called Hana Mission to work diligently and to give generously. As His servant, I can testify without reservation that it is a tremendous blessing to be here and witness the unfolding of God's work. I warmly invite you to come and see the wonderful things God is doing through Hana Mission, just as He faithfully led Israel through the wilderness.

More Good News!

One of our Hana Mission board members, Dr. Suyoung Park, presented a scholarship this morning to one of our faithful volunteers who will begin college this fall.

Tae-Ha Oh has served alongside his father and sister throughout the summer with a joyful and obedient spirit. His respect for God and his willingness to honor his father reminded me of the Rechabites in Jeremiah 35, who faithfully obeyed the commands of their ancestor Jonadab. In an age when obedience is often overlooked, Tae-Ha's example is an encouragement to us all.

May the Lord richly bless this young man, guide his steps, and lead him into an ever-deeper knowledge of Christ.

Please Pray With Us

1. That God will continue to pour out His blessings on every child, volunteer, and staff member throughout the remaining weeks of VBS.

2. That the Lord will provide more volunteers for next week. At present, only three college students are scheduled to serve, and we are praying for at least three more volunteers.

3. That God will provide a suitable retail space for Hana Mission's second thrift store.

여름 VBS가 살아 있습니다!

여름 VBS의 두 번째 주를 은혜 가운데 마쳤고, 이제 세 주가 더 남아 있습니다!

기도와 헌신, 그리고 사랑으로 함께 섬겨 주신 은혜의 강 교회에 진심으로 감사드립니다. 아이들은 매일 밝은 미소와 기대하는 마음으로 하나님의 말씀을 배우고, 사랑이 넘치는 형제자매들과 함께 뛰놀며 즐거운 시간을 보냈습니다.

이 프로그램은 아이들을 위해 준비되었지만, 오히려 많은 봉사자들과 어른들도 큰 은혜를 경험하고 있습니다. 함께 하나님을 사랑하고 섬기는 기쁨이 얼마나 큰 축복인지를 날마다 체험하고 있습니다.

이러한 은혜는 여름에만 주어지는 것이 아닙니다. 하나님께서는 365일 언제나 우리를 그분의 사역으로 초대하십니다.

"범사에 여러분에게 모본을 보여준 바와 같이 수고하여 약한 사람들을 돕고 또 주 예수께서 친히 말씀하신 바 '주는 것이 받는 것보다 복이 있다' 하심을 기억하여야 할지니라."(사도행전 20:35)

하나님께서는 하나미션이 부지런히 일하며 아낌없이 나누는 사명을 감당하도록 부르셨습니다. 하나님의 종으로서 저는 조금도 주저함 없이 고백할 수 있습니다. 이곳에서 하나님의 말씀이 실제로 이루어지는 모습을 목격하는 것은 참으로 큰 축복입니다.

광야에서 이스라엘을 친히 인도하셨던 하나님께서 오늘도 하나미션을 어떻게 이끌어 가시는지를 함께 와서 보시기를 여러분을 초대합니다.

또 하나의 기쁜 소식!

오늘 아침 하나미션 이사이신 박수영 박사께서 이번 가을 대학에 진학하는 한 봉사자에게 장학금을 전달해 주셨습니다.

오태하 학생은 올여름 동안 아버지와 여동생과 함께 하나미션에서 꾸준히 봉사해 왔습니다. 하나님을 향한 순종과 아버지를 공경하는 그의 모습은 예레미야 35장에 나오는 레갑 사람들을 떠올리게 했습니다. 그들은 조상 요나답의 명령을 신실하게 지키며 포도주를 마시지 않고, 집을 짓거나 밭을 경작하지 않으며 장막에 거하는 삶을 살았습니다.

순종이 점점 희미해지는 시대에 태하의 모습은 우리 모두에게 귀한 도전과 격려가 됩니다.

하나님께서 이 청년을 더욱 풍성히 축복하시고, 그의 앞길을 인도하시며, 예수 그리스도를 더욱 깊이 알아가는 삶으로 이끌어 주시기를 기도합니다.

함께 기도해 주십시오

1. 남은 VBS 기간 동안 모든 어린이와 봉사자들, 그리고 사역자들 위에 하나님의 은혜가 계속 넘치도록.

2. 다음 주에는 봉사자가 더 필요합니다. 현재 대학생 봉사자가 세 명만 예정되어 있어, 최소 세 명 이상의 봉사자가 더 채워지도록.

3. 하나미션 두 번째 사랑의 가게(Thrift Store)를 위한 적합한 상가 공간을 하나님께서 예비해 주시도록.

늘 기도와 사랑으로 하나미션을 함께 세워 주시는 모든 분들께 진심으로 감사드립니다.

"여호와는 네게 복을 주시고 너를 지키시기를 원하며, 여호와는 그의 얼굴을 네게 비추사 은혜 베푸시기를 원하며."(민수기 6:24–25)
