$120/DAY
Dear friends of Hana Mission,
$120/day is the average sale we had last week from the Paterson Store. And to break even, we need to make $400/day. Sometimes I wonder what in the world I am doing. I became a pastor to deliver the good news! Instead, I am doing hauling, distribution and dealing with customers. We just sold a used cuckoo cooker for $100. Thank you Jennifer! Is anyone interested in buying a used refrigerator for $400?
Indeed, my goal is not to become a business man but a fisher of men, as Christ commended.
However, I came to realize that to catch a bigger fish, I needed a vessel to go out to sea. Hana Mission is determined to build a school and catch a lot of fresh fish.

Let's make more stores so we can build the best school in Paterson, NJ.
We need more support from churches and business owners, especially dry clearing-stores and individuals.
It has only been three weeks since we opened the Paterson store. However, I am already envisioning the third store. Somewhere between Teaneck and Bergenfield we will set up the third store.
Sunday dinner is about to resume. If you or your church is interested in serving people with a hot meal, please let me know. Bethany UMC was the first church to sign up for this event. Tentatively, they are scheduled for June 12th. The children's program will resume this summer and Jamie Cha will take charge of this ministry. Northshore Community Church and Pastore Helen will take one week each in August. We will take two more churches or groups and run the summer camp for four weeks. 손익분기점을 약 $400불로 잡을 때 올 여름에는 가능할 것으로 예상합니다.
그 후에 선교회 Thrift store 3호를 티넥과 버겐필드 사이에 오픈할 계획을 가지고 있습니다.
종종 생기는 질문이 있습니다. 하나님의 말씀을 전하는 일보다 사업에 시간을 쓰는 저의 정체성입니다.
사람을 낚는 어부가 아니라 손님을 낚는 사업가가 되는 것은 아닐까 하는 염려라고 할까요?
하지만 이 사업을 통하여 패터슨 아이들에게 가장 좋은 교육 프로그램을 하나님의 사랑으로 제공할 수 있다면
이보다 더 값진 삶을 저의 생에서 찾을 다른 방법이 없다는 결론을 내리게 됩니다.
그래서 여러분들께 부탁 드립니다.
여러분이 섬기는 교회는 물론, 사업을 하시는 분, 특히 세탁소를 하시는 분 그리고 모든 성도 분들께서 협력해 주시기를 부탁드립니다.
지난 주에 필그림선교교회 성도분께서 이사 하시며 많은 물건을 기부하셨습니다.

어린이 프로그램을 이번 여름부터 다시 시작합니다.

그리고 주일 저녁 식사를 6월부터 베다니 교회와 함께 다시 시작하게 되었습니다.
