Seeing is Believing

Of course, our Lord has said "blessed are those who have not seen and yet have believed". However, we are talking about the school, not the Lord and his power. By seeing the future school of Hana Mission, we can now pray more clearly and get focused on how we should prepare for this project. Inki and Solim (husband and wife architects) have been working on this project for over 10 years now. My gratitude is eternal to them for their hard work for our Lord and for Hana Mission.

Before we finalize the drawing, we have one obstacle to overcome: an apartment between Hana Mission properties. Although the building owner and Hana Mission reached an agreement on the purchase price, the owner of the building has one issue with his partner. Let's pray that God will move the heart of his partner so we can close on this property.

Many obstacles have been crossed. We don't know how many more challenges we will face. However, the Lord has always been there for us. And I believe that He allows us to go forward because we have His purpose. And that is shining the light of God's love here in Paterson City, especially on the little ones.

Pray with us, and let us work harder than before for His kingdom. Hana Mission is aiming to open store #5, and all these stores will support this school one day. With your prayers and supplications, we will bring a living sacrifice to the Lord today!

아이들과 여행을 할 때 종종 듣는 소리가 있습니다. 이제 다 왔어요?

저도 이 질문을 아버지께 합니다. 수십 번 아니 수백 번 했습니다. 이제 다 왔나요?

아직도 답은 듣지 못했습니다. 하지만 보여지는 것들이 있습니다.

그리고 위의 사진을 현실로 옮기기 위해 부지런히 Thrift Store 를 늘려 나가고 있습니다.

Store 하나가 자리 잡기 까지는 2년 정도 걸립니다. 아직 수입 창출이 이루어지지 못하지만 Belleville store 에서 들어오는 수입으로 패터슨, 클로스터, 클리프톤 가게를 지탱하고 있습니다. 그리고 다섯 번째 가게를 열기위해 자리를 찾고 있습니다. 아직 확정 되지는 않았지만 Bergenfield 에 나온 자리를 눈 여겨 보고 있습니다. Bergenfield 이전 이나 혹은 그 다음은 Hackensack 으로 나갈 계획입니다.

이렇게 가게를 늘려 나가는데 가장 필요한 것은 선교회와 마음을 같이하는 동역자/봉사자 입니다.

함께 이 꿈을 나누기 원하시는 분은 저에게 연락해 주시기 바랍니다.

또한 이 꿈을 위해서 함께 예배 드리고 기도하는 시간을 매주일 오후 1시에 선교회에서 갖고 있습니다.

기도 부탁 드리는 것은 선교회 건물 사이에 있는 아파트 건물 (14 Marshall St) 주인이 속히 공동 소유주와 을 같이하여 건물을 양도하는 것입니다. 이미 3개월 전에 건물주와 가격을 조율하여 양도하기로 하였지만 이 건물을 공동 소유한 분과 의견이 모아지지 않아 지연되고 있습니다.

건물이 구입될 것 같아 선교회 소식을 계속 미루다가 결국 여러분과 함께 이 일을 위하여 기도하고자 글을 쓰게 되었습니다. 오늘도 옷자루를 차로 옮겨서 창고/지하실로 그리고 분리 한 후 여러 Store 로 보내서 $1불에서 $10 불로 푼돈이 모아지고 있습니다. 이 푼돈이 모아져 직원들의 주급이 나오고 앞으로 학교를 운영할 자금이 나올 수 있도록 여러분께서 성심을 다하여 기도해 주시기를 부탁드립니다. 오병이어 의 기적이 이 자루에서 나오기를 간절히 기도합니다.
